Singapore’s Hottest Latin Party – STREATS Singapore International Latin Festival 2004, will return to Fort Canning Park on April 24^th & 25^th 2004, Saturday & Sunday.

The annual event organized by Caldwell Arts Entertainment and supported by Singapore Tourism Board and STREATS, is back this year after a year’s absence due to last year’s SARS outbreak. This International event which takes place once every year in Singapore will be the 3^rd Annual Latin Festival and it will be held over one weekend, 24^th April, 5pm – 2am and 25^th April, 5pm – 10.30pm.

The festival this year will focus its spotlight on the influence and culture of the Latin World.  Hot Highlights of the festival includes performances by KACHIMBA 1551 (Japan), Wicked Aura (Singapore), Latin House DJ Nicolas Matar (US), Victor Hugo (UK) and High Powered Music and Latin Dance Workshops by JJ Dance.

Festival-goers can expect an up tempo atmosphere on the 24^th April 2004, Saturday as the likes of Wicked Aura, a local percussionists ensemble, dish out funky beats using exotic instruments. Club Lovers can expect an eclectic mix of jazzy and funky House music with heavy Disco, African and Latin influences from DJ Nicolas, resident supreme at Pancha’s funky El Cielo.

The mood for 25th April 2004, Sunday, is well suited for those who enjoy the Classic flavor of Latin.  A great day out for Families as they will be entertained with performances from world-class Latin Bands from around the world such as Victor Hugo, Europe’s Biggest Salsa Star while kids will be entertained by fringe activities from Strollers.
