Bilateral trade with Indonesia amounted to S$26.2 billion in 2003. Imports accounted for S$14.5 billion and exports1 accounted for S$11.7 billion.

Key imports from Indonesia included parts of office & data processing machines, telecommunication equipment, and refined petroleum products, accounting for 9.3 per cent, 8.3 per cent, and 7.7 per cent share of total imports respectively.

Key exports to Indonesia were electric machinery, petroleum products, and telecommunication apparatus, accounting for 21.5 per cent, 17.4 per cent, and 10.1 per cent share of total exports. (See Annex for more product details).
