Hallo everyone It's Monday again. Coca Cola
launched its new slogan Coca Cola Enjoy with free drinks
on the house at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City the last few days. I
paid a visit on a hot Saturday afternoon and what met me on
arrival was a real ICE-COLD Coke. I mean, in spite of the
sizzling heat, the organisers, true to their mettle, made sure
their boys dispensed ice-cold Coca Cola to everyone in the long,
snaking queue. It sure was worth the wait. And what's more, as
an avid Coca Cola fan, I was on cloud nine! Why? The Coke came
in green glass bottles with the words Coca Cola moulded into the
glass. It sure made my day that Saturday. That bottle has since
joined my collection of Coke memorabilia. Temperatures
in the past two days soared to 35º C. But, it was a welcome
break from the storms which enveloped the island the previous
two weeks. We can safely resume our Explore Singapore
tours. This Saturday, we will take you to Chinatown to have a
look. However, we will avoid the New Bridge Road area, where the
Great Southern Hotel and Majestic Theatre landmarks are located,
as it is a construction site for the new North-East MRT line.
See you next week. COMING SOON NEW
