The National Museum Gift Shop is opened daily from 9am - 6pm daily, except on Monday when it's closed. You can pick from the range of gift items they have at the National Museum Shop, including cards, art books, silk fabrics, pottery and crafts that make unique gifts for friends and family.
The Glass Hall, which is located on the ground floor, is particularly popular as a wedding venue. It is also suited for events and corporate openings. The colourful sculptured glass installation is created by Seattle-based Dale Chihuly, one of the world's foremost glass artists. Any event held in the hall will certainly leave a lasting impression among guests. With a seating capacity of 120 persons, a built-in stage and the latest audio-visual facilities, the Glass Hall, flanked by its palm-fringed courtyards, is ideal for banquets or buffet dining.
The Auditorium was formerly
the school chapel of Saint Joseph's Institution. It is located on the
upper floor of the Museum. A majestic glass installation created by
Filipino artist, Ramon Orlina is featured as the centrepiece. The
Auditorium is an ideal setting for a classic wedding march and a popular

Parking is available at the following car parks near the
Museum: Waterloo
Street, Queen Street, NTUC Income Centre and Plaza By The Park.
Parking at the Museum is reserved for cars with NHB parking labels only.
The Museum is well-equipped to cater to the physically disabled.
Lifts and
permanent ramps located in the Museum provide easy access to galleries.
Wheelchairs and baby push-prams are allowed in the Museum. The
public toilets in the Museum contain an area for diaper changing. Lockers
for the public are also provided at no charge.
