Singaporeans and tourists will have the last
chance to catch the world-renowned cabaret in Singapore when Crazy Horse
Paris does its final show this month. |
Both Crazy Horse Paris and Eng Wah
Organization in Singapore reached the unanimous decision to end the show
due to the lower than expected attendance. |
According to Philippe Lhomme, CEO and
President of Crazy Horse Paris, Singapore remains an important centre
for the development of the Crazy Horse Group in Asia. |
He further said: "A number of Asian cities
were competing for the right to open a Crazy Horse Paris and Singapore
was the winner. We still very much believe in the future of the city as
a major tourist destination but we probably arrived too soon. The
developments to come, such as the Integrated Resorts, will be a booster
for the local entertainment life. Our relationship with the Singapore
Tourism Board has been excellent and we look forward to a continued
collaboration in the new context." |
"Crazy Horse Paris is a premium product and
it takes time to nurture. However, timing is important. We may have
brought it in a little early. I believe that Singapore has the potential
to support a vibrant nightlife and there will be future opportunities
that we can explore," said Eng Wah Organization Managing Director, Ms.
Goh Min Yen. |
"Eng Wah Organization would like to express
our appreciation to the Singapore Tourism Board, channel partners from
the tourism and arts sector, and the media who have rendered support
during Crazy Horse Paris¡¯ operation in Singapore," said Ms. Goh. |
"We are happy to have had the opportunity to
bring to Asia such a beautiful, artistic, and world- renowned cabaret
like Crazy Horse Paris. It is with reluctance that we have to see Crazy
Horse Paris end its season in Singapore," added Ms. Goh. |
Singaporeans and tourists ought to catch the
brilliant show before the curtains come down for the final time on 31
January 2007. |
Crazy Horse Paris celebrates the
beauty of women in an inimitable, sophisticated and glamorous way. |
The show consists of a series of
highly aesthetic and visual ¡°tableaux vivants¡± in which
exceptionally beautiful and talented dancers perfectly integrate
the sensuous choreography of their performances while their bodies
are bathed in richly colored and textured lighting designs. |
The colors and images from the
stunning lighting effects are so overwhelming that it is hard to
determine where skin ends and the color reflections begin. The
result is a unique show that engages the mind as much as the eye! |
Located at Clarke Quay, the
entertainment venue is Parisian splendor at its best ¨C luxury
plush velvets, silks and elaborate chandeliers. Singapore is also
the first in the world to showcase an integrated Crazy Horse Paris
venue. |
Show ticket prices are from $85 and
show times are Tuesdays to Sundays, 8.00 p.m., 10.15 p.m. with an
additional 12.00 a.m. show on Saturday. Tickets are on sale at
SISTIC www.sistic.com.sg
and Box Office, Clarke Quay. |
