The MediaCorp Radio Subaru Impreza Challenge
2007 is back for the 6th year running. This year, 400 qualifying
contestants -- 200 male and 200 female participants -- will compete to
see who can outlast the others. There will be 10 cars on-site (40
contestants per car). |
|
One male and one female survivor will each
walk away with a Brand New Subaru Impreza 1.5R. |
|
The event is slotted to start at 7.00 am on
Saturday, 3 Nov 2007 at Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza. |

First Qualifying
Round |
|
To get a chance to register for the
Challenge, tune in during the qualifying period (24 September 2007 – 26
October 2007) to any three of the following radio stations: |

Gold 90.5FM |

Class 95FM |
|
987FM |
|
Wait for the DJ's ‘invitation to
call’. Call in. The first male and female callers of each call-in
segment will enter the Second Qualifying Round. |

Second Qualifying Round |
|
The Second Qualifying Round will take
place on Saturday, 3 Nov 2007 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. All
qualifying contestants will have to register at 7am with their
NRICs/BCs and a medical certification that they are fit to
participate in the Challenge. |

All qualifying contestants will be
required to place a non-refundable registration fee of S$10 (cash)
each. |
|
The Draw for all contestants who got
through the First Qualifying Round will take place at 11am. Out of
this group, 380 contestants (190 male and 190 female contestants)
will move on to take part in the Challenge. |
|
Gaining direct entry into the event |
|
Alternatively, every $50* purchase of
any Subaru merchandise from now 24 Sep till 26 Oct 2007, gives you
an opportunity to gain direct entry into this year's Challenge. |
|
The Subaru Draw will be held on 27
October 2007 from 2-6pm at the Subaru Hub. Bring along your
receipts for the Subaru Draw which will end once all 10 positions
(5 male and 5 female contestants) are filled up. |

Who can participate? |
|
The Challenge is open to all
Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 21 years and above.
Participants below the age of 21 and at least 18 years old (as of
1 January 2007) are also eligible to participate in the Challenge
if parental consent is obtained. |
