56 SECONDARY SCHOOLS TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE DIRECT SCHOOL ADMISSION EXERCISE |
¡¡ |
|
This year, 56 schools, 9 more than last
year, will be participating in the Direct School Admission Exercise for
admission to Secondary One in 2008. |
The Direct School Admission Exercise
(Secondary) (DSA-Sec) aims to promote holistic education by giving
participating schools greater flexibility in selecting students while
holding to the key principles of transparency and meritocracy. |
For students, the DSA provides them the
opportunity to demonstrate a more diverse range of achievements and
talents in seeking admission to secondary schools. |
The list of the 56 schools participating in
DSA-Sec this year is at Annex A. |

Specialised Independent School |
This year¡¯s DSA-Sec Exercise will be

SOTA will offer a 6-year holistic curriculum
that meaningfully connects the arts and the academic programme at
pretertiary level, to provide a dedicated development path for students
to realise their artistic and academic potential. |
SOTA students will sit for the International
Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma as their graduating qualification at Year 6. |
