Eton House International School has three centres in Singapore. It offers the following classes:
For 3 - 4 year-olds Nursery class (Singapore equivalent: nursery)
For 4 - 5 year-olds Reception (Singapore equivalent: K1)
For 5 - 6 year-olds Year 1 (Singapore equivalent: K2)
For 6 - 7 year-olds Year 2 (Singapore equivalent: Primary 1)
For 7 - 8 year-olds Year 3 (Singapore equivalent: Primary 2)

Its curriculum follows the UK Early Years curriculum referred to as 'Desirable Outcomes' and the National Curriculum. There is special provision for those who wish to take a more focused Mandarin curriculum.
Their fully-trained teachers are recruited from the UK, Australia, China and Singapore. A non-refundable registration fee of S$1 500 per student is payable. A refundable deposit equal to one semester's fee (S$5 000) is payable upon enrolment. Tuition fee per semester is S$5 000 and per year is S$10 000.
After-school care is also available during term time from 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm at S$1 000 per semester.

Nearly 30 000 people flocked to the National Stadium last night to party with American pop diva Mariah Carey.
Planners expect the population of Singapore to reach 5.5 million by 2040 or 2050, taking into account an expected increase in the number of foreigners working here. From just 3 million in 1990, the number has swelled to 3.9 million today, including 700 000 foreigners.
