BANKING ACT (CHAPTER 19)
It is hereby notified for general information that the Singapore operations of The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank Limited and The Industrial Bank of Japan Limited have merged into The Fuji Bank Limited on 1st April 2002 as part of consolidation of the Mizuho Banking group. The Fuji Bank Limited changed its name to Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd. on the same day. 
Pursuant to section 70(2) of the Banking Act, it is hereby notified for general information that The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank Limited and The Industrial Bank of Japan Limited have surrendered their banking licences under the said Act on 1st April 2002.
