It is hereby notified for general information that GZ-Bank AG has merged with DG BANK Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank AG to form DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, Frankfurt am Main.
Pursuant to section 70(2) of the Banking Act, it is hereby notified for general information that —
  (a) the Monetary Authority of Singapore has issued a licence under the said Act to DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, Frankfurt am Main with effect from 18th September 2001; and
  (b) GZ-Bank AG has surrendered its banking licence under the said Act with effect from 18th September 2001.

It is hereby notified for general information that Banca Commerciale Italiana has merged with Banca Intesa S.p.A. and the combined entity will be known as Banca Intesa Banca Commerciale Italiana S.p.A.
Pursuant to section 70(2) of the Banking Act, it is hereby notified for general information that —
  (a) the Monetary Authority of Singapore has issued a licence under the said Act to Banca Intesa Banca Commerciale Italiana S.p.A. on 1st May 2001; and
  (b) Banca Commerciale Italiana has surrendered its banking licence under the said Act on 1st May 2001.
