Exploring Singapore
1. Take a stroll down Orchard
Road,
the shopping heart of
Singapore.

A closer look at Centrepoint shopping centre, on the left of Orchard
Road.
It is home to the popular
Robinson's department store.

Once we have passed Centrepoint, we turn around and take
a look.
Now, turn back.
|
|
|
That's Orchard Point in front of you.
Spotlight department store is located
here.
Orchard Point, together with the
adjoining terrace-shops, make up H2O.
|
|
|
Turn around again and look at the
skyline.
Those are the twin towers of Mandarin
Hotel. Don't they look impressive? That's the revolving restaurant
at the top.
The new wing is on the left.

We are almost at the next junction -
Killiney Road & Koek Road.
On the right of Orchard Road we can
see Killiney Post Office just ahead and part of Somerset Road
too.
