Exploring Singapore
1. Take a stroll down Orchard Boulevard.
This road lies on the back
of Orchard Road.
After Orchard Boulevard, our
tour will move on to Orchard Road,
the shopping heart of
Singapore.

At the junction, turn left into Paterson Road.
This part of the road takes you to
Great World City, a shopping centre. There are many private
apartment blocks along the road. |

Or move on ahead into the next part of Orchard Boulevard.
This road takes you to Napier Road,
where the American & Australian embassies are located. Also
found there are the British Council & Botanic Gardens. |

|
Or turn right into Paterson Road, to go to Orchard Road.
This part of Paterson Road is
short. The junction can be seen just ahead. That's Wheelock Place
on the left.
We are turning right today.

On the left of the road is the front
entrance to Wheelock Place.
Borders Bookshop is on the ground
floor.
