Exploring Singapore
1. Take a stroll down Orchard Boulevard.
This road lies on the back
of Orchard Road.
After Orchard Boulevard, our
tour will move on to Orchard Road,
the shopping heart of
Singapore.

On the right side of the road is the
rear entrance to Orchard MRT Station. That's the one with the semi-circular roof. Notice the
T-junction ahead. |

You can turn right at the
T-junction into Orchard Turn.
That's Wisma Atria's rear entrance ahead.
Note the ERP gantry point. This is
the start of the restricted zone of the Central Business District.
Drivers need to pay a fee
to enter.

Or move on straight ahead along Orchard
Boulevard.
The Four Season Hotel is the tall
building in the centre. On the right is Wheelock Place, where
Cartier has its office and Borders has its bookshop.
We are making a right turn at the
junction ahead.

On the right is a small park where
hundreds of Filipino maids love to gather during weekends.

Turn around. That's the view of Orchard
Boulevard that you have just passed.
Now turn back and walk to the
junction ahead.
