CERTIFICATION OF REGISTERS OF ELECTORS, 2009

The Registers of Electors for all 23 electoral divisions have been certified on 7 April 2009. There are 2,260,620 names of electors listed in the Registers.
The Registers of Electors are open for inspection at the Elections Department and the 105 Inspection Centres listed in Annex A. Singaporeans may also check their names in the Registers via the Elections Department’s website (http://www.elections.gov.sg).
The registration of overseas electors, which commenced on 3 March 2009, will remain open. Overseas Singaporeans who wish to be registered as an overseas elector may submit their applications via the Elections Department’s website or at any of the Overseas Registration Centres listed in Annex B.
