FACTSHEET OF THE SINGAPORE TOURISM BOARD’S

‘UNIQUE2ME’ PHOTO COMPETITION

Entry submissions

November 15, 2005 to January 5, 2006

Contest Categories

• Digital Photograph category: Entries to be uploaded at the official contest website visitsingapore.com/unique2me

• MMS Photograph category: Entries to be sent via MMS to 9137-3799

Entry Requirements

• Open to Singapore residents (Singaporean citizens, permanent residents, and expatriates) and visitors

• Each entry must be accompanied by a 25-word description on what makes the image a unique take of Singapore.

Selection process

• A panel of judges comprising representatives from STB and other contest sponsors will shortlist entries to be uploaded on the official contest website for the public to vote.

• The online voting will take place from February 1 to 28, 2006. The photographs that receive the highest votes will then go through a final round of judging. Three winning images will be selected for each of the categories.

• In April, results of the Unique2Me national photo competition will be announced. Winning entries will be showcased in an exhibition at Suntec City from April 2006.

Prizes

Participants stand to win attractive prizes worth a total of $33,500. Three winners will be selected from each of the two categories. Another 10 people who had taken part in the online voting will be picked in a lucky draw to win attractive prizes.
