KICKING THE MOON –(UK/Germany)

Contemporary circus including acrobatics, contortion, juggling and acrobalance mixed up with choreography, character and a sense of story.  Max Haverkamp and Ashley Carr combine their quirky comedy with skillful juggling, impressive acrobatics and inevitable marriage.  Kicking the Moon has won the Jerwood Award for Circus Arts and performed to acclaim in many national and international festivals.

THE AARON GREG EXPERIENCE-(Canada)  What sets the Aaron Gregg Show apart from other shows is the boundless energy, impeccable skill and dazzling creativity.  However, it’s more than just one show because by drawing on Aaron’s experience and wide-ranging abilities he can create many different shows to suit nearly any given performing environment.  From a stunt involving a leafblower, beachball, three garden weasels and a small child to juggling fire torches on a balance board while blindfolded by a flaming bucket, there’s no end to the amusement Aaron can provide.

Chalkmaster Dave-(Canada):  For all you fans of sidewalk art, and new fans to be: Chalkmaster Dave is back again to make your eyeballs smile.  This award winning artist has been to many places to do his art, including Singapore, Montreal, Edmonton, Norway and even his own living room.  Until his cat is willing to get a job, Chalkmaster is dedicated to transforming asphalt into artwork and dating Norwegian supermodels. Make sure you don’t miss him ‘cause if you do, then you’ll wish you didn’t!!

UCO SHOW-(USA):  Combining the street art circus of today with the carnival of the past, Mason (UCO) chose his path leading to the development of this one-man carnival.  Performing alongside such acts as alternative rock guru Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), activist vocalist Michael Franti (Spearhead) and opening for the legendary Jim Rose Sideshow Circus; audiences across 15 countries have gathered to gasp in amazement at the manipulation of “Heavy Metal” – a giant metal cube constructed as a tower chiropractor and partner to this extreme performer.  With unusual body bending, earlobe exercises, illusionary absurdities and a late night break dancing fire show-UCO combines all of this talents to bring you a show suitable for all places and all faces.

DAREDEVIL CHICKEN CLUB-(USA):   The Daredevil Chicken Club is a husband and wife team who use character driven physical theater and audience participation, to share their story of being the best daredevil superstars the world has ever seen!! (or so they think.) This comedic couple loves catching the audience off guard with unexpected twists and turns throughout their show.  You will witness absurd acrobatic moves. Banana spitting feats, eight foot high slackrope juggling while blindfolded, a Tango, and very funny audience participation with every single volunteer wearing pink tutus!  This show is a perfect blend of skill and comedy, love and sarcasm, husband and wife.

Vincent Dube-(CANADA):

This versatile artist from Quebec City started as a busker in 1995 with a quartet of juggler’s acrobats called “Les Tourisk”. This group performed in the street as well as on stage during several years. In 1998, they won the gold medal and the public’s choice award at the IJA (International Jugglers Association). From 1998 to 2002, Vincent joined the Cirque ÉOS, a circus from Quebec and traveled all around America and Europe doing over 500 shows. In 2000, Vincent created his juggling act on drums with bouncing balls and began as a solo busker. He has already participated in many festivals throughout Canada.

Pedro Tochas-The Sculptor Clown-(Portugal)

Love and juggling are mixed together in this clown show that looks and feels like a silent movie. "The sculptor clown" is an interdisciplinary work where the performer does not communicate through verbal language, using instead physical theatre, circus, and balloon sculptures to express his feelings.  Winner of "The Street of Fools" Porsgrunn Norway, 2003 and 2nd place at The International Busker Competition, Killarney Ireland 2003.

The Dragon Knight-(USA)

The Dragon Knight is an unique stiltwalker who wanders through time and brings to life a magical dragon....This eight foot giant convinces the audience with stiltwalking and puppeteering that he is a reality. The dragon Baraka is ridden by a mighty sorcerer.  He is a fierce creature not easy to approach, but he gives the feeling that anyone can be a hero, especially the children who are so proud of themselves when they finally pet the Dragon and overcome their fear.

Alan Star (Australia) - 'The Paraffinalien'

Alan Star's fire performance career started in goa, India in 1993. There he found himself with the time & space to teach himself, through zen practice, most of the skills you will see in his show today.

 

For the following ten years he performed full time with The Flaming Butterflies, presenting their show in Canada, USA, Europe, Australia, parts of the Middle East and Asia.

As well as now presenting 'The Paraffinalien' (his solo fire and music performance), Alan Star also continues to perform with 'The Flaming Butterflies'.

 

Owen Lean (IRELAND)

Owen Lean has been performing magic for over three years now and has been an infamous character on Dublin's Grafton street for the past two. Discovering magic purely by accident  Owen has taught himself almost everything he knows from books and through the secrets passed onto him from some of his close colleagues - he now adds his own slightly insane personality to create a truly unique entertainment experience.

Robb Zeizer (USA)

Theater Leela is an outdoor theater experience for the entire family.
