Foreign
motorists driving foreign-registered cars into Singapore
have to pay Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) fees of S$30 per day.

Foreign
motorists driving foreign-registered cars can opt to pay a
fixed ERP fee of S$10 per day, to pass through the ERP
gantry for an unlimited number of times during the ERP
operating hours.
·
Foreign
motorists driving any foreign-registered vehicles need not
pay VEP fees when they drive into Singapore from 7.00 pm and
leave by 2.00 am the following day on weekdays. Weekends and
Singapore public holidays are also VEP-free.

From 6
December 2004, the VEP fees for foreign-registered cars will
be lowered to S$20 per day.

From 6
December 2004, the fixed ERP fee for foreign-registered cars
will be lowered to S$5 per day.

Between
6 December 2004 and 31 December 2004, foreign motorists need
not pay VEP fees for the day if they drive into Singapore
from 12.00 noon and leave by 2.00 am the following day on
weekdays. They are required to pay VEP fees for the
subsequent weekdays if they continue to stay in Singapore.
Weekends and
Singapore public holidays are still VEP-free.

In the month of
January 2005, the VEP operating hours will be shortened to
5.00 pm on four Fridays (or Thursday if the Friday is a
holiday), between 7 January 2005 and 28 January 2005. The
original VEP operating hours will resume for the rest of the
weekdays.
