1. Take a stroll down Orchard
Road,
the shopping heart of
Singapore.

Farther down the right of Orchard Road, you can now see the
next building ahead.
That's Orchard Building. It's not
the same old one. The previous building was demolished a few years
back. This is the new one.
It's just across the next junction.

|
At the second junction, on the right of the road, just
behind Mandarin Hotel is Cineleisure Orchard.
Cineleisure Orchard is built on the
site of the former Orchard Cinema which was demolished some years
ago. |

|
At the junction, turn left into Cairnhill Road, which
leads to Bukit Timah Road.
The building on the left of the
picture is that of The Hereen.
|
|
Or turn right into Grange Road.
|
|
|
Or move straight ahead.
Today, we are walking straight ahead
along the lower part of Orchard Road, towards Centrepoint shopping
centre.
