1. Take a stroll down Orchard
Road,
the shopping heart of
Singapore.

Farther down, you can see the towering Orchard Parksuites.
|
|
|
The main entrance to Orchard MRT Station comes into view.
Behind this is a road, and then Wisma
Atria shopping centre (blue building).Isetan has another branch in
this building |

On the left of Orchard Road is the Tang Plaza, which
houses Tangs department store - every shopper's favourite. It used
to be called C.K. Tang.
|
|
On the right of the road, is the small
road we were talking about - Orchard Turn.
This road used to lead into Orchard
Road, but nowadays it's sealed off right here.

|
Farther down the right, Wisma Atria
comes into view. The building behind it is Ngee Ann City, where
Takashimaya shopping centre is located.
