New Singapore Government Directory Interactive Mobile launched
CONTACT INFORMATION OF PUBLIC OFFICERS NOW AVAILABLE ON MOBILE DEVICES
The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) has launched the Singapore Government Directory Interactive (SGDI) Mobile today.
It enables users to access contact details of public officers on SGDI on mobile devices such as web-enabled handphones and personal digital assistants. This is in addition to the SMS service which was rolled out on 8 January 2008.
SGDI Mobile (accessible at www.sgdi.gov.sg/mobile) will serve the needs of people who are overseas or frequently on the move and need information quickly. Users can now have information readily available at their fingertips and viewable in a mobile device-friendly layout.
All that is required of the user is to access www.sgdi.gov.sg/mobile via a wireless network on their mobile devices. They can follow the steps below to obtain information on ministries or agencies:

a) Select your choice in the agencies directory, for instance, if looking for contact number of MICA, click on “[1] Ministries”

b) Click on MICA in the list of ministries displayed to view details

c) Locate the contact number you are looking for or browse the list of personnel and portfolios within the ministry
