Grammy-winning soul singer, John Legend sets to perform at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 15th January 2007 as part of his Once Again Tour.
Singapore will be first concert in Asia.
Once Again is his latest album which receives three nominations for the 2007 Grammy Awards; Best Male Pop Vocal Performance (Save Room), Best Male R&B Vocal Performance (Heaven) and Best Male Performance by a Duo or Group (Family Affair with Joss Stone).
Legend previously won Best New Artist, Best R&B Male Vocal Performance (Ordinary People) and Best R&B album at the 2006 Grammy Awards from his debut album Get Lifted.
The 27-year-old Ohio singer, songwriter and pianist was born John Stephens into a musical family. He attended University of Pennsylvania and was once a church choir director for nine years.
His biggest supporter is rapper and producer Kanye West whom Legend was introduced to in college. He proved to be a solid songwriter and session musician which promptly landed him in West's creative team.
Legend also played on albums by Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Lauren Hill, Taleb Kwili and Jay-Z, among others.
