Happy Birthday Singapore! -
National Day Projects supported by MICA |
|
Singapore turns 40 this year and it is time
to celebrate! |
The Ministry of Information,
Communications and the Arts (MICA) is proud to support a series of
exciting projects organised by a host of organisations, such as the
Designers Association of Singapore, Phish Communications, the
Singapore Tyler Print Institute, Aljunied Town Council, North East
CDC, the Singapore Hotel Association and the Singapore Kindness
Movement, to commemorate the nation*s 40th year of independence. |
The central theme, &Happy Birthday
Singapore*, reflects the celebratory nature of these projects, which
will involve the use of arts, design and heritage to immerse
Singaporeans in the National Day celebrations. |
In addition to fostering a sense of
national pride, these projects will also profile the creativity and
artistic vibrancy of ordinary Singaporeans. |
The Happy Birthday Singapore projects,
in brief, are: |

yesteryear, engage in fun activities, and enjoy an outdoor
screening of movies at the carnival end point.
-

in their neighbourhoods.
