How about satisfying your cultural and artistic appetite after a round of shopping? It¡¯s easy to, when instinc, an artist-run art space is located right in the heart of Orchard Road.
Housed in a quaint Peranakan shophouse on historic Emerald Hill, this art studio-gallery-lifestyle boutique is a step and a hop away from the main shopping artery without all its hustle and bustle. Walk up the character-filled hill and the city noise melts away.
It¡¯s a cool, soothing enclave that¡¯s perfect for appreciating and creating art. Come to admire (or critique!) the artworks, chat with the artists-in-residence or participate in art workshops.
instinc is no highbrow, stuffy commercial gallery, but a casual, inviting space where viewers are encouraged to come and ¡°smell the paint¡±, as it were, and discover the thoughts and processes behind the artists¡¯ works.
About Instinc
instinc is an artist-run space that aims to foster friendships and collaborations with other artists. It is a dynamic space in continuous process of creation and is committed in exhibiting all forms of contemporary art.
The objectives of instinc:

To provide an exhibition space managed by artists in order to establish a vibrant environment for creative practice and dialogue

To provide a space to exchange ideas and interaction for artists in the community
