Chingay 2004: Parade of DreamS - Talent Hunt

Source: People's Association

The Chingay | Parade of DreamS is a national street parade held in conjunction with the New Year celebrations. It reflects the collective dreams and celebrations of our people and our multi-culturalism.

We welcome people of all talents and ages to show us your DreamS - your dreams about fashion, movie idols, the arts, beauty, creative space, to dreams about Singapore and the world.

We show you just some of the many possible acts that you can use to share and show your dreamS. If you do not have a dream to share, just join in the fun and show us your talents.

Dreams about Fashion - show us your dream fashion style with a fashion parade, from funky hairdos, retro hot pants, to Singapore's latest street fashion ?

Dreams about movie idols - transform into your star idol or favourite cartoon character, to the likes of your favourite MediaCorp artistes, Michael Jackson, Harry Potter, Britney Spears ?

Dreams about the arts - show us your style through breaking, hip hop, cha-cha, singing, mime, skits, musical instruments or just free-form dizzy movements ?

Dreams about beauty - your dreams of being a hunk, babe, beauty queen..... through body painting, body piercing, tattoos ?

Dreams about creative space - let your creativity and dare-to dream spirit show through stunts, scientific inventions, zany creations ?

Dreams about favourite things - come with your barbie dolls, teddy bears, yo-yos, pets, toys, musical instruments ?

Anyone can join in the fun... family, friends, schoolmates, colleagues, neighbours, even your pet birds or your cuddly bears, can be part of Parade of DreamS.

Early bird parade performers will receive DreamS freebies.

All Talent.HUNT participants will also be featured in the Chingay | Parade of DreamS that will hit the streets of Orchard Road on 30 & 31 January 2004. The organisers reserve the right to select, modify or limit any of the acts.
