An enchanting evening of Chinese music & dance


Hop over to the Toa Payoh Town Centre Amphitheatre on Saturday 15 Nov 2003 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm for an enchanting evening of Chinese music and dance by Singapore's
very own Tampines Arts Troupe and Quanzhou Elder Choir Group from China.

This event is an NAC-Shell Community Arts Series presentation. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Tampines Arts Troupe

Since its formation in 1991, the 40-member- strong troupe has participated in numerous large-scale dance performances. In 1997 they produced Spring In Our Midst featuring Chinese dance, ballet and group singing.

Quanzhou Elder Choir Group (China)

The 24 member-strong choir was formed in 1995 in Quanzhou, Fujian. The troupe comprises retired artists and interested art lovers. They have
actively participated in many public performances and have won a bronze prize at the National Choir Competition in 2000.
