Asian Children's Drama Fiesta 2003

Source: I Theatre

Over the last three years, I Theatre has been heading up the Asian Children's Festival Drama Fiesta in conjunction with the National Library Board, growing from a single small-scale performance towards a full scale festival.

Last year's ACF Drama Fiesta attracted over 10,000 audience members, with 27 completely sold out shows and very good reviews all round.

This year we are running the ACDF as a fully separate Festival, in association with the Asian Children's Festival - and it promises to be even bigger and better than last year, with twice as many performances, plus exciting workshops!

Here is the schedule of programmes:

The Gruffalo

Presented and produced by I Theatre  (Duration: 50 minutes)

13 - 28 Nov 2003 AGF Theatre, Alliance Française

Times: 9.30am, 11am, 2.30pm

Join Mouse on an adventurous journey through the deep, dark wood in this magical, musical adaptation of the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Mouse can scare hungry animals away with tall stories of the terrifying Gruffalo, but what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined? Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 4 and up, and their adults… Let your imagination run wild…

Dancing With Dragons

Presented and produced by I Theatre (Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes)
