Monday with the Editor: It's snowing in Singapore!

Hallo

Have you noticed the first flakes of snow have started falling onto our Web site? If you had been shopping over the weekend, you would have also noticed that Christmas decorations have begun to sprout in several shopping centres around the island.

Yes! Christmas is drawing near, and to take you chaps into the mood for an early Christmas, we have started to let snow fall onto this Web site. At first, a few flakes here and there, and as the season comes into full bloom, more and more flakes - till it is practically snowing all over our FrontPage.

And, that's not all. We have arranged for you to go visiting - on our Web site here on the Internet - some popular shopping centres and hotels in Singapore where it has started snowing.

If you don't believe that's possible, we don't blame you. Of course, snow will never fall from the skies over the island. But, here on our Web site, we have used a wee bit of technology to let you see snow falling over some popular shopping centres and hotels we have selected - starting with Rendezvous Hotel.

To see Snowing Singapore, click the logo below (do be patient as it will take a while for the building to appear amidst the snow):

And, don't forget to come back regularly to our Web site to have a look at snow falling over other popular places.
