Love Bites II - Love in a time of recession and Newater

Source: DramaPlus.org

Following the successful run of Love Bites last year, 3.14 Company - the performance wing of DramaPlus Arts - returns to the field of love with three more plays set very firmly in contemporary Singapore. The plays run from 27 - 30 Nov 2002 (8pm) at Ulu Pandan CC Theatrette and from 3 - 4 Dec 2002 (8pm) at Tampines Cultural Centre.

Specially commissioned from Ovidia YU, the plays explore the dilemma of modern love in our comfortable, yet, deceptively uncertain world. With her trademark humour and idiosyncracy, Ovidia's plays collectively suggest that love bites backwards, forwards - and where you least expect it!

The Morning After:

Retrenched and desperate, two lonely people head for a hotel intent on revenge and suicide. Will they be alive in the morning? Could they be in love...?

Panic Attacks:

A marriage is strained to breaking point by the kids - but is there any reason for keeping it together - apart from the kids?

Love and Beyond:

Things are changing in Kevin's world. A newly returned grad with a newly retired Dad and a grandma who has acquired an ang moh ghost lover. And what about the lovely Melissa who would like a commitment while housing prices are favourable? (Will Kevin prove a Stayer or a Quitter?)

Cast includes Henry HENG, Fanny KEE, Rodney Oliveiro, Grace WAN; introducing Daisy YEO. Directed by Roger Jenkins.

Tickets at S$25 & S$18. (less 10% for Ulu Pandan & Tampines CC members) For more information, click HERE!
