Ugly The Ducking & The Rainbow Fish

Presented by I Theatre

  Source: Imaginarts.org

I Theatre is presenting two shows - Ugly The Duckling and The Rainbow Fish - in November 2002 in conjunction with the National Library Board's (NLB) Asian Children's Festival.

Ugly The Duckling goes on stage at two locations: 1) Woodlands Regional Library Auditorium from 8 - 11 Nov 2002. 2) Geylang East Regional Library Auditorium from 13 - 15 Nov 2002. Originally run as a very successful schools tour, this production has been expanded and completely re-vamped as a professional theatre performance.

This very well-known and well-loved folk tale is transformed with lively physical theatre, marvellous costumes and very catchy tunes. The show helps to encourage positive response to those of different race or creed, and to boost Racial Harmony through a lively theatrical experience that will engage and enthral children and parents alike.

Ugly The Duckling is produced by I theatre and directed by Ferlin Jayatissa. The show stars Melissa WONG, Eleanor TAN, Sean YEO, Kenneth Karasu and Roger POON.

The Rainbow Fish takes the stage at Ulu Pandan Community Club from 11 - 17 Nov 2002. It is a brand new musical adaptation of the classic children's story of Rainbow Fish, the most beautiful fish in the ocean.

It is a magical, musical journey under the sea. This is a re-run of the sell-out production in May 2002, and tickets are already going fast!
With a lively and refreshing musical soundtrack, sparkling, specially created costumes, cute puppets and a wonderful underwater world, it's a musical presentation for the whole family.

The Rainbow Fish casts CHIO Su Ping, Kimberly Creasman, LAI Ee Na, Dick SU, Eugene LIN, Juwanda Hassim, Carina Hales and Joni THAM.

Tickets for Ugly The Duckling are available at $10. Special Family tickets (2 adults, 2 children) at ONLY $36.00. Tickets for The Rainbow Fish are priced at $11.00. Special Family tickets (2 adults, 2 children) at ONLY $40. Call SISTIC at (65) 6348 5555 or click HERE!
