CERTIFICATION OF REGISTERS OF ELECTORS, 2006
The Registers of Electors for all 23 electoral
divisions have been certified on 17 February 2006.
2 The Registers of Electors are open for
inspection at the Elections Department and any of the 104
Inspection Centres listed in Annex A. Alternatively, Singaporeans
may check their names in the Registers electronically via the
Elections Department website (www.elections.gov.sg)
or the eCitizen Portal (www.ecitizen.gov.sg).
3 The Registers contain a total of 2,158,439 names
of electors. Among them, 857 are registered as overseas electors
to vote at one of the eight Overseas Polling Stations, which will
be located at the Singapore diplomatic missions in Canberra,
Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Washington and San
Francisco. Annex B gives the number of overseas electors
registered to vote at each Overseas Polling Station.
